We set the scanners up and they scanned the items perfectly, however, when we went to link to the App, the App did not recognize the bar code. UPC Case bar codes are 14 digits long, Interleaved 2 to 5 bar codes are also 14 digits long and are specifically for warehousing and distribution use. I have searched the community and have seen some answered questions that the app supports up to 18 digit bar codes, so we dont know who to believe!

Almost all of the warehouses we know use Interleaved 2 to 5 bar codes, surely it isnt possible that Quickbooks is NOT programmed to work with this type of bar code? Can anyone help, we can figure a work around but that reduces the efficacy of the entire point of having the scanners. Welcome to the Community, Poshnosh. Bar codes created in QuickBooks are based on the item numbers, not the UPC, and it depends on their type. With that being said, QuickBooks doesn’t support 14 digits bar codes.
